“From time to time, we feel tired, and everything we do or say seems to come out wrong and create misunderstanding. We may think, “Today is not my day.” At times like this, it’s best simply to return to the body, cut off all contact, and close the doors of the senses. Following our breathing, we can collect the mind, body, and breath, and they will become one. We will have a feeling of warmth, like someone sitting inside by a fireplace while the wind and rain are raging outside. This method can be practiced anywhere at any time, not just in the meditation hall. We come back in contact with ourselves and make ourselves whole again.”
